The reading and publishing world has changed a LOT since my first book was published. (That was mumble, mumble years ago. Back in the dark ages. Though we did have word processing. I don't know how the writers who did it on typewriters managed!)
I mean, think about how reading has changed! The other day I got an email from my library. An ebook that I'd placed a hold on was finally available for me to read. It was 9:30 pm, and I was able to borrow a book from my (closed!) library! How cool is that?
There are more audio books than ever, so people can listen to books while they commute, or do dishes, or walk on a treadmill...whenever they want. And they can buy them at 2 am, when the rest of the world is asleep, if they want to.
There are apps for all of this now.
